Welcome to The White Hart

The White Hart Inn in Manningtree is one of the oldest building in Englands smallest town. It is steeped in history with Mathew Hopkins, the infamous Witchfinder General, used to frequest this establishment in the 17th Century.

Recently refurbished this Listed building has bags of character and has been rejuvenated since the recent change of management. We cater for all tastes with a selection of continental lagers, real ales and guest ales.

We offer Bed and Breakfast and our rooms are all en suite and to a very high standard. Manningtree is an excellent base for your break being on the banks of the River Stour, close to Constable Country, a few miles to Clacton on Sea as well as Walton on the Naze and Frinton on Sea where excellent blue flag beaches can be found.
